How to refer to SpecRider and use the project's names, logos, and brand assets.

SpecRider, the SpecRider logo, and related product names or visual marks are trademarks or service marks of 805 Software .

Fair Use

You may refer to SpecRider truthfully when describing compatibility, integrations, tutorials, reviews, forks, packaging, or community work.

Examples:

  • “A theme for SpecRider”
  • “Instructions for using SpecRider with an agent terminal”
  • “A fork based on SpecRider”

What To Avoid

Do not use the SpecRider name, logo, or visual identity in a way that suggests your project is an official SpecRider release, endorsed by 805 Software , or maintained by the SpecRider project when it is not.

Do not use SpecRider marks in the name of another product, domain, package, social account, or commercial service without permission.

Forks And Modified Builds

The GPL-3.0 license lets you modify and redistribute the source code under its terms. It does not grant trademark rights.

If you distribute a modified build, use a clearly distinct name and visual identity unless you have written permission to use the SpecRider marks.
